Africa Creative Coding and Learning Bootcamps
The Bootcamp is designed to engage students and teachers in creative learning experiences with different types of tools and technologies.
The Africa Creative Coding and Learning Bootcamps offer inquisitive kids and educators an environment that fosters collaboration for accelerated learning through hands-on practice that motivates creation.
Our Bootcamp is set in a structured, focused social learning environment for kids to create, experiment and express themselves under the guidance and mentorship of diverse and knowledgeable facilitators.
The Africa Creative Coding Bootcamp combines online and offline learning with various tools and partners such as Scratch, Micro bit, Makey Makey, Arduino, Makerbox, Lego, and Little Bits.
This offers the learners an integrated curriculum that breakdowns the concepts in a fun, memorable and digestible way. The networks that are built during our Bootcamps of individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences that foster the true essence of digital wisdom. These networks enhance collaboration and communication amongst the learners and facilitators in and out of the classroom set-up.
We will facilitate the kids and educators with the necessary tools and knowledge for learning to be persistent through the coding process. They will learn from their mistakes and frustration and keep striving to reach their desired outcome.
Students will be empowered to be more creative, develop problem-solving skills, gain analytical skills, and through play understand cause and effect.
